Networking leads Group

Check out this testimonial from one of our fabulous Arvada Chamber Members, Benchmark Mortgage: "A little over three years ago, I was lucky enough to receive a phone call from the Arvada Chamber, saying that a spot for a mortgage advisor was open in the Thursday Leads Group. I was lucky enough to get a face to face interview with Andrea Romero, the apparent "gatekeeper" for the group, (you know, you can't just let any random mortgage guy into a leads group), and apparently did well enough to be invited to visit them that Thursday. (Truth be told, we hit it off immediately, and if the rest of the group was as nice as her, I really wanted in!) I visited....and within minutes I knew this was where I wanted to be, and I hoped they would let me stay. Well, here we are in 2010, and they still haven't officially told me whether I can stay or not, but I keep coming, hoping I can become an official member! I was leaving leads group today, filled with...happiness, I guess it was. Had a fantastic lunch there at Chopstix, I sat next to Kim Purdy and talked Jewelry and Gold, we had a great speaker, we were giving testimonials for Andrea and Country Financial, I had just bought a product from Pat Schassburger, who had refinanced her house with me a month ago, as always I was laughing out loud with Jackie Sathre, and on my way out, Mike Keating from K&K Creations gave the number of a lady to call who needed to refinance her house. And I just felt...connected to all these people and the Chamber. And kind of realized just how lucky I was when that phone call came in three years earlier. This group has been great for my development, great for the personal relationships, and great for the business I can send to these people when I know clients of mine have a need for their varied services. Oh, and the clients I have gained this year will top $10,000 in closed loans. Not too shabby for having lunch every Thursday with a great group of people.

The cost of participating in a leads group is $60 per year (or $15 per quarter).
