School is back in session! We have been proud to partner with Jefferson County Public Schools over the years to support driving businesses to engage in more work-based learning opportunities.
Jeffco Public School students have the opportunity to learn about work through mentorships, guest speakers, interviews, job shadows, and worksite tours. Students learn through work in internships and pre-apprenticeships, and they learn at work through CTE, Careerwise, and executive internships.
We need local businesses and organizations to engage with the high schools and offer exposure to your business to students through multiple events throughout the year.
Here is a start to what is upcoming:
Golden High Schools (GHS) 12th Grade English Work-Based Learning Day
