Beneficial Ownership Registration Open House
December 18, 2024

The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has launched a new reporting requirement for businesses to disclose their beneficial ownership information (BOI). If your company was created or registered before January 1, 2024, you have until January 1, 2025, to file your initial BOI report. There is no fee for submitting your report and businesses not registering may incur civil penalties of up to $500 per day. Please read more about the requirements here.

The Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) offers a directory of grant and loan funding opportunities for small businesses in Colorado.
The CLIMBER (Colorado Loans to Increase Mainstreet Business Economic Recovery) Loan Fund provides up to $250 million in working capital loans to Colorado small businesses negatively impacted by the pandemic through 2023. It will promote small business recovery, save jobs, and help support the Colorado economy.
