Arvada Chamber Announces Arvada Future 20 Campaign to Recognize Outstanding Professionals Under Age Forty

Arvada, CO, August 20, 2024– The Arvada Chamber of Commerce is leading a celebration of Arvada young professionals throughout the month of September. This year, we will celebrate 20 emerging leaders in business, non-profits, and our community who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and initiative in their profession. 

The Arvada Future 20 list recognizes Arvada professionals under age 40 who have significant career achievements and the ability to play an influential role in the community into the future. We encourage managers, co-workers, parents, friends, and individuals to submit nominations to be recognized. We are looking for entrepreneurs, executives, managers, up-and-comers, behind-the-scenes stars, volunteers, norm-breakers, influencers, and other leaders in Arvada. Nominations are open until September 16, 2024 at midnight.

Recognition of the incredible rising talent in our business community is a critical part of retaining our workforce. According to Business Insider, 47% of millennials plan to leave their jobs within two years while a Stop The Exit report reveals that turnover rates are the highest among employees aged 30–45. An Achievers Workforce Institute’s 2023 Engagement and Retention Report found that the top reasons employees would stay in their current job included a strong sense of belonging (12%) and recognition (10%). 

The twenty individuals honored for the 2024 Future 20 will receive a spotlight post on arvadachamber.org and on the Chamber’s social media. Honorees will also be invited to a mixer event, Advocacy After Hours, and the October 23 Leadership Luncheon to be recognized. The Chamber will also award honorees with a half-off admission for its 12-week Leadership Bootcamp and advance individuals for leadership opportunities at the Chamber and with partners in the community.
