Arvada Chamber Announces Arvada Future 30 Campaign to Recognize Outstanding Young Professionals

August 09, 2023

Arvada, CO, August 9, 2023 – The Arvada Chamber of Commerce is leading a celebration of Arvada young professionals throughout the month of September. This year, we will celebrate 30 emerging leaders in business, non-profits, and our community who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and initiative in their profession.

The Arvada Future 30 list recognizes Arvada professionals age 30 or younger who have demonstrated significant achievements in their careers. The awardees will have demonstrated outstanding leadership potential and the ability to play a large and influential role in the community into the future.

Nominate a young professional to be recognized using this form! We are looking for entrepreneurs, executives, managers, up-and-comers, behind-the-scenes stars, volunteers, norm-breakers, influencers, and other leaders in Arvada. Nominations are open until September 14, 2023 at 5:00 PM.

Recognition of the incredible rising talent in our business community is a critical part of retaining our workforce. According to Business Insider, 47% of millennials plan to leave their jobs within two years. An Achievers Workforce Institute’s 2023 Engagement and Retention Report found that the top reasons employees would stay in their current job included a strong sense of belonging (12%) and recognition (10%). Employees who report that they are never recognized are 39% more likely to say they will job hunt in 2023.

“Arvada has a wealth of young talent in business, non-profit, and government positions that contribute daily to advancing our community,” says Kami Welch, President and CEO of the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. “The Arvada Future 30 list is a great opportunity to spotlight the critical role our young professionals play in maintaining a thriving business environment.”
