March 27, 2023 – The Arvada Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Business Champions Program in an effort to foster community stakeholders on critical initiatives like B.O.L.D. 2026. The Program is divided into six champion areas: talent, housing, childcare, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and inclusion. The Chamber’s critical work in these arenas requires a team of business, non-profit, and community leaders to play an active role in solving the biggest challenges that impede economic opportunity for businesses and families.
Business Champions should include business and non-profit leaders (owners and employees) who have passion, interest, and perspective on the above champion areas. The Arvada Chamber also welcomes elected officials and policy leaders who have political and social influence over policy decisions, as well as, community leaders who have lived experience in navigating those systems.
“The Arvada Chamber has big, important goals to accomplish over the next five years as part of the B.O.L.D. 2026 initiative,” says Arvada Chamber President and CEO Kami Welch. “This work is designed to impact and benefit all Arvada businesses. Therefore we need dedicated buy-in, input, and support from our community to deliver the best possible outcomes.”
All Business Champions will be listed in name and company at arvadachamber.org/champions.
Members of the Program will also receive emailed updates, data, and stories of impact around each Champion area. Additionally, Champions will receive a complimentary ticket to the associated Community Impact Forum ($20 value), the opportunity to provide critical feedback and ideas through regular flash polls and surveys, and education and training around how to testify and engage in policy and community coalition building.
