Arvada Chamber Launches Childcare KAPS Council
The Childcare KAPS Council combines partners from childcare, regional collaborative partners, and businesses together to support the B.O.L.D. 2026 Childcare goal, increase child care capacity to enable caregivers to join/rejoin the workforce and give children the quality early learning experience they need to thrive. In its initial phase, the Childcare KAPS Council will focus on raising business leaders’ awareness and understanding of the region’s challenge with childcare access and affordability and the impact this has on business success. The KAPS council will also promote strategies that employers can implement to mitigate these challenges to boost talent recruitment and retention efforts. Additionally, the KAPS Council will be working to develop an actionable strategy for B.O.L.D. 2026 to support and engage childcare providers.

Why I invested:
As a member of the Arvada Chamber Board of Directors for several years, I have seen the impact that the Chamber makes in the business community. And as the EOS Implementer for the Chamber, I am confident that with the high caliber of people within the organization and supporting the organization, we can do even more.
Each of the five pillars of B.O.L.D. 2026 are important to me based on the needs and challenges I saw running the day-to-day of a mid-size business as well as what the local organizations I work with as an EOS Implementer experience. I contribute to B.O.L.D. 2026’s success as an active member of the Entrepreneurship KAPS Council where we help the Chamber provide resources, support and connections that help our local businesses and community thrive.
