Women’s History Month is celebrated annually in March to highlight women’s achievements and promote gender equality across the globe. The month corresponds with International Women’s Day on March 8, a day of education, empowerment, and action.
In honor of Women’s History Month, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce is leading a celebration of Arvada women leaders throughout the month of March. The Chamber will celebrate Badass Women of Arvada in business, non-profits, and the community and offer resources and engagement opportunities.
On February 3, 2021 the Arvada Chamber was recognized for Outstanding Program by the Western Association of Chamber Executives for its role in the Arvada Resiliency Taskforce. Created with a cross-section of local partners in response to COVID-19, this Taskforce worked diligently to support efforts to understand the impact of COVID-19 closures and respond quickly with programs, resources and policy shifts. for all businesses in Arvada.

On Friday, January 22, the Arvada Chamber hosted its 2021 Annual Meeting: The State of the Chamber. The virtual event featured the Chairman of the Board passing of the gavel, a review of 2020 for Arvada businesses and the Chamber, and a look ahead at what to expect from the Chamber in 2021.
