COVID-19 Alert: Jefferson County to Move to Level Orange on November 9

November 15, 2020

Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) was notified today by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment that the county will be moved to Level Orange, formerly Level 3, in the Dial Framework, effective Monday, November 9th at 5:00 PM.

Despite the county implementing a comprehensive mitigation plan, COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and the testing positivity rate in Jefferson County — three key indicators for how the virus is spreading in a community — have all continued to increase at an alarming pace.

Safer at Home Level Orange limits business capacity to:
• 25% or 50 people at restaurants, places of worship, and non-critical manufacturing
• 25% at offices and retail
• 25% or 25 people at gyms/fitness centers, personal services, and limited health care settings
