American Legion Post 161
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities.

Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up.

Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis Club
Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis Club is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. Our 80+ member club has been in service to our community for more than 60 years.
We meet in person every Wednesday from 7:30am to 8:30am at the Indian Tree Golf Course Club House at 7555 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada. Our meetings include breakfast and an informational presentation.

Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been since we first began in 1917. Our clubs are places where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving their communities, and the world.
We normally meet on the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm at Indian Tree Golf Club.

Rotary members have been addressing challenges around the world for over 110 years. Rotary links 1.2 million members to form an organization of international scope. It started on 23 February 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities.
We meet Wednesdays at 12:00 pm at Indian Tree Golf Course Restaurant.

Friendship and service. Rotary will introduce you to some of the world’s nicest people. People with high ethical standards who are anxious to be involved with their community and the world village. Rotary is the world’s largest non-denomination and non-government community service organization.
We meet Tuesdays at 7:10 a.m at Thrive Workplace West-Arvada.

Arvada VFW Post 4331
The VFW traces its roots back to 1899 when veterans of the Spanish-American War (1898) and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902) founded local organizations to secure rights and benefits for their service. Annually, the nearly 2 million members of the VFW and its Auxiliaries contribute more than 8.6 million hours of volunteerism in the community. From providing over $3 million in college scholarships and savings bonds to students every year, to encouraging elevation of the Department of Veterans Affairs to the president’s cabinet, the VFW is there.

Lake Arbor Optimist Club
For 100 years, Optimist Clubs have participated in community service programs that are dedicated to bringing out the best in youth. Since each Club is autonomous and run by members in their community, Optimists have the unique flexibility to serve the youth of their area in any way they see fit.
We meet at Arvada Elks Lodge on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of each Month at 6:30 pm.
