The Arvada Chamber needs to develop and maintain an inclusive internal structure and strategy.
In order to lead by example and support business leaders, the Arvada Chamber must commit to an intentional and strategic approach to fostering an inclusive environment that is representative of the businesses and community it serves.

Arvada Chamber Shares Cultural Assessment, Next Steps in DEI Initiative
This Spring, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce signed a contract with Thriving Culture, a Denver-based consulting agency, to audit, engage and educate organization stakeholders and business leaders on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) best practices. As the first step of this initiative, the consulting firm performed a comprehensive cultural assessment with internal constituents as well as its membership to understand cultural, structural, and leadership gaps as well as opportunities for development.
The Arvada Chamber of Commerce Launches New Initiative on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
April 19, 2021 – In March 2021, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce signed a contract with Thriving Culture, a Denver-based consulting agency, to audit, engage and educate organization stakeholders and business leaders on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) best practices. The Arvada Chamber prioritized inclusion as a central element of its value statement in 2019. The race and social justice issues in 2020 advanced further a robust dialogue around action and opportunity for the Arvada Chamber to serve as a business and community leader in the DEI space.
