Arvada Chamber Announces Entrepreneurship KAPS Council to Enhance the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

August 5, 2024 – ARVADA, CO. Today, the Arvada Chamber of Commerce announced its Entrepreneurship KAPS Council to help Arvada and the region enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem by implementing targeted programming, providing business resources, and conducting outreach efforts. KAPS stands for Kick-Ass Problem Solvers and the business and community leaders on this council will work diligently to ensure a competitive advantage for area business leaders through entrepreneurial solutions.

The Entrepreneurship KAPS Council is a critical component of the Arvada Chamber’s B.O.L.D. 2026 initiative, which counts strengthening the business environment as one of the four goals to tackle in the five-year plan. Key success indicators for the group include a rise in sales tax revenue, reduced business closures, and growth in job opportunities.

Members of the Entrepreneurship KAPS Council include:

  • Jared Faris, Faris Consulting
  • Mollie Gilligan, Payroll Vault
  • Christopher Hill, Odyssey Beerwerks
  • Tetiana Kolcheva, Summit Cleaning
  • Sarah Miley, Arvada Economic Development Association
  • Brianne Sheridan, SFinvest Real Estate
  • Barb Stevens, EOS Worldwide
  • Alex Turner, Aslan Home Lending

“Operating a business is tough, even in the best of times,” says Christopher Hill. “As a first-time business owner and entrepreneur in Arvada, I’ve had over a decade of experience navigating the trials and tribulations of operating a small business – from start up to maturity and everything in between. If I can help others avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made along the way, or speed up the learning process, I’m happy to do so. The more resources we can offer entrepreneurs the better. Thriving businesses make for a thriving community.”
