Minuteman Press Arvada, located at 5612 Yukon St. in Olde Town, has been in business since 2017. “We design, print and promote all of your business, which is what our slogan says. And that’s really what we do,” says owner Dwayne Cameron. We talked to Dwayne about how the Chamber has helped grow his business and connections in the community.
What was your goal when you joined the Arvada Chamber as a member?
“My initial reason for joining was that I had just started the business, and I wanted to grow. I wanted to get involved in the business community and get my feet wet. The initial goal was for the Chamber to help grow my business.”
How have you made the most of your Chamber membership?
“I got involved in the business education classes early on. Leadership Bootcamp played a huge part in helping me think about taking care of my business and team. With new government laws and regulatory changes that happen, the Chamber is usually where I hear it from.”
How has the Chamber helped connect you to other businesses?
“I am part of the Tuesday lunch group, and those are my people. Those are the people that promote me the most and I promote them the most. If there’s any questions in business, those are the people I go to first. I really feel like that’s been the backbone of what the Chamber represents.”
How has the Chamber helped grow your business?
“A great part of helping grow my business has been getting to know other businesses. I would say that 15% to 20% of my business I can directly attribute to being a member of the Arvada Chamber. A lot of the companies that I work with internally in my business are also Chamber members. It’s been great. I feel like walking down the street, a lot of people know me (laughs).”
