February 29, 2026 – ARVADA, CO. For the sixth consecutive year, the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce will lead a community-wide celebration of women leaders who live or work in Arvada as part of Women’s History Month. The Chamber will once again present WOW Women of Arvada, honoring women in business, nonprofit organizations, and the broader community through recognition and engagement opportunities throughout March. WOW Women 2026 is presented by Summit Cleaning.
Community members are invited to nominate women to be highlighted as the Chamber celebrates business owners, executives, rising stars, pioneers, entrepreneurs, innovators, influencers, and community leaders who are shaping Arvada’s future.
Formerly known as Badass Women of Arvada, WOW Women of Arvada also includes an exclusive networking event for those recognized.
Nominations will be accepted through March 15, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Greater Arvada Chamber staff will select nominees to be recognized. One woman will be spotlighted each day in March on the Chamber’s Facebook page, with a short profile published at arvadachamber.org/Wow.
Arvada Continues to Lead for Women in Business
Women-owned businesses continue to be a meaningful driver of Arvada’s local economy, with representation historically exceeding state and national averages. Colorado also remains one of the top states for women-led startups. Despite this progress, challenges persist nationwide. The well-documented “broken rung” shows women are still promoted to first-level management at lower rates than men, limiting the leadership pipeline and long-term advancement opportunities for women.
“The WOW Women of Arvada campaign is about shining a spotlight on incredible women leaders, strengthening our business community, and supporting the continued growth of women-owned businesses,” said Kami Welch, President & CEO of the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to celebrate the women whose leadership, innovation, and impact make Arvada a vibrant place to live and work.”

The 2025 WOW Women of Arvada campaign received over 75 nominations, honored women through daily social media spotlights, featured awardees in local media and hosted a networking mixer.
